Greater Lycoming Habitat applies for home preservation grant funding

Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity announces its intent to submit a request for funding from the USDA Rural Development Housing Preservation Grant program.

Funds awarded will be used to assist very low and low-income homeowners with minor exterior repairs and rehabilitation projects on homes they own and use as a primary residence in rural parts of Lycoming County. The public is invited to comment by contacting Dana Brigandi, Director of Development, at 570-322-3515 or by mail within 15 days of this announcement, before the Sept. 8 application deadline. The public may view the statement of activities for this grant at the Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 335 Rose St., Williamsport, during its business hours.
