Drivers should expect single‑lane traffic with flagging during daylight hours for a portion of Bloomingrove Road near Williamsport for a sewer improvement project, which will continue through Nov. 30, state officials said.
The project, between Freedom Road in the city and north of Maybee Hill Road in Loyalsock Township, is being overseen by the Williamsport Municipal Sanitary Authority (WSA).
The WSA and its contractor are installing a new sewer main, lining, force main, grinder pump and related housing components. The project also includes paving and lawn restoration.
Work began on Aug. 3 and is anticipated to be completed after Thanksgiving, weather permitting.
