The South Williamsport Area School District approved several items at their September monthly meeting on Monday.
In accordance with the newly approved negotiated agreement with the South Williamsport Area Education Association, salaries for previously hired 2026-27 faculty were approved as follows: Cassidy Bliss at $59,991; Sara Caputo at $61,005; Lilly Eiswerth at $59,484; Kalyn Erb at $62,884; Noah Fry $59,484; Claudia Green at $59,484; Port Habalar at $59,484; Rhandie Jessell at $59,484; Lexie Kibby at $64,205; Katherine Loughran at $59,484; Cora Stackhouse at $59,991; Ron Timko at $59,484; and Scott White at $79,105.
Additional staffing matters approved include the approval of Cassandra Engel as a Classroom Monitor for the 2026-27 school year; Taylor Cavanaugh as a paraprofessional at Central Elementary School, at an hourly rate of $17.74; Barbara Deatrick as a bus aide, at an hourly rate of $17; Anita Leahy as a certified substitute; Kristie Harris as a guest teacher; Gregg Anthony as a game worker for the 2026-27 school year at a rate of $30 per game; Wesley Robey, Lee Bernstein, Bob Lunt, Julie Ranck, Sharon Andrade, Nancy Bieber, Darlene Melfi, Jeff Yeager and Charlie Brooks as transportation drivers; Curt Clossen, Keith Doverspike, Seth Hamilton, Shane Heydrich, Cam Kephart, Carlie Kephart, Becky Nettleton, Rex Schrum, Doug Wirth, Matt Wyable, and Paul Biblehimer as substitute drivers; and acknowledged the resignations of Nick Koletar as Girls JV Basketball Coach, effective Sept. 8, and Scott White as Volunteer Football Coach, effective Sept. 8.
The next school board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5.
