Robert D. Hiller
Robert D. Hiller, 81, of 328 N. Washington St., Montoursville, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 26, 1933, in Loyalsock Township, a son of Carl A. and F. Elizabeth Parker Hiller.
Bob retired from Construction Specialties and was a Korean War veteran serving in the Air Force. He was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church and the Society of Pennsylvania Archaeology North Central Chapter No. 48.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, C. Duane Hiller.
Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, the former Mary Jo Bartlett; his son, R. Michael (Susan) Hiller, of Milton; daughter, Kimberly (Richard) Awiza, of Montoursville; brother, James (Marge) Hiller, of Rose Valley; sister, Cindy (David) Kling, of Loyalsock Township, and four grandchildren, Dustin (Jennifer) Awiza and their daughter, Madison; Jamison Hiller, Kaitlin (Zane) Martin and their son, Levi, and Aaron Hiller.
The funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2015, at Faith Wesleyan Church, 1033 Tucker St., Williamsport, with the Rev. Timothy K. Hartzell officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received Sunday evening, March 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to Faith Wesleyan Church.
