John (Jack) Yoder, 89, passed away peacefully at Christiana Hospital on Jan. 3, 2020, due to complications with COPD and diabetes.
Jack is survived by his wife, Laura (Sis Frey), also formerly of Muncy, with whom he would have celebrated 55 years of marriage later this month; his daughter, Debra and her husband, Stephen Manning, of New Castle, Del.; and several nieces and nephews. Jack is predeceased by his parents; brothers, T. Gerald and Richard Yoder; and a sister, Betty Day.
Per Jack's request, there will be no viewing. Interment will be Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jack's name to the American Legion Donation Processing Center, P.O.
