Mr. James W. Bower

Mr. James W. Bower, 81, of Elimsport Road, Montgomery, died at his home on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022.

Born Nov. 5, 1940, at Williamsport, he was the son of the late Cristabelle Greybill Williams.

James attended Williamsport Schools and was a graduate of Williamsport High School. He had been employed at the former Divine Providence Hospital as an operating room orderly.

He enjoyed bowling. He had bowled for more than 50 years. He was of the Protestant faith.

He is survived by his wife, the former Beverly Myers, his daughter, Mrs. DeAnna (Alan) Miller of Cogan Station, his three grandchildren; Robert (Mary) Miller of Montoursville, Curtis Miller of Troy, and Samantha at Brunswick, Georgia.

He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 East Central Avenue, South Williamsport, PA. 17702,

with a Chaplain from UPMC Williamsport Hospital officiating. Flowers will be provided by the family. Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be made in Fairmont Cemetery at Forkesville, PA.
