He spent 10 years at the Smithsonian Institution in D.C., working in telecommunications. He produced several award-winning documentaries, and filmed many celebrities as they donated memorabilia.
He then worked for a PBS station in Maryland, writing, filming, and producing outdoor shows. In retirement, he was an escort driver for wide load trucks. He loved the freedom of the open road.
Larry loved camping, fishing, canoeing, hiking, and traveling, especially to Europe. He loved to dance, and was named “best dancer” in high school.
He will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor that lives on in his children and grandchildren.
Larry gifted his body to scientific research.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
