After a long illness she was called home April 18, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center while surrounded by family.
She loved her family. She was a proud veteran. She loved her waitress days, just making people laugh with her sarcastic sense of humor and help them have a better day. She loved to write and was so good at expressing herself in her poems. She also had a love of art and painting and will also be remembered by some of the beautiful paintings she created.
She is loved by her children, Melissa Campbell and Michael Stein. She adored and was proud of her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is always loved and will be vastly missed by her sister, Debra Raper. "Thick as thieves" comes close. One can only truly understand love when one has experienced it unconditionally. Thank you to those who shared all the moments of her life.
As to her wishes, there will be no service, but there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
