Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Dr. Robert E. Stevenson.
Kathy lost her battle with cancer on June 1, 2023, in Murrells Inlet, S.C. She left this earth in her home, surrounded by loved ones, friends, and pets.
For many years, Kathy owned and operated the Caravan Book Store in Eagles Mere. The Book Lady was a destination for many children and adults searching for a good read and a spirited exchange. She and her books left a mark on many. Kathy was a veracious reader; there was not much she couldn't talk intelligently about.
Kathy was an animal lover. She is survived by her two dogs and a fat cat. She was preceded in death by many a pampered creature.
Kathy is survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and many friends.
Kathy Lyons-Stevenson will be missed by many.
