Daniel E. Lindemuth, 48, of Williamsport, died peacefully Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at UPMC Williamsport.
Born Feb. 5, 1975, in Williamsport, he was a son of Charles J. and Mary "Paulette" (McKissick) Lindemuth.
Daniel cherished moments with his family, indulging in activities like watching NASCAR and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles. His interests extended to working on motorcycles, four-wheelers, and anything with an engine.
A man of diverse talents, he assisted his father in installing a 350 engine in "the Jeep" and engaged in a friendly bake-off with his son Dylan, showcasing his creativity in crafting a cake topping that nearly secured victory.
Known as "Dan the Man" for his mechanical prowess, Daniel was the go-to person for any automotive issue, demonstrating a wide range of skills. Thoughtful, caring, considerate, and always fair, he left a lasting impact on those around him.
Serving in the army from 1993 to 1997 as a tank mechanic, he earned numerous medals and certificates of achievement.
A beloved father, son, uncle, brother, and friend, Daniel's absence will be deeply felt by his family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, skill, and camaraderie.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Mary "Paulette" Lindemuth, of Williamsport; son, Dylan (Korin) Lindemuth, of Williamsport; daughter, Samantha (Travis) Vonada, of Howard; sister, Mindy Thomas, of State College; niece, Mary "Dani" Thomas, of State College.
In addition to his father, Daniel was preceded in death by brother, Michael J. Lindemuth.
Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 5, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street Montoursville, with Pastor Marty D. Coffey officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the Funeral Home.
