Lucy A. Huss

Lucy A. Huss, 91, of Loyalsock, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at the Gatehouse. Her husband, Lucian Huss, of 63 years passed away in 2015.

Born on Oct. 26, 1932, in Tiffin, Ohio, she was the daughter of John and Assunta Reino San Gregory. Lucy was a graduate of Calvert High School in Tiffin, Ohio. For many years, she worked in retail including Britts department store as an assistant manager and was on staff for 30 years at St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a very active member of St. Ann Parish.

She is survived by five children, Veronica (Takis) Salpeas, McLean, Va., Christine Huss, Williamsport, Stephen Huss, Williamsport, Michael (Jill) Huss, Henderson, Nv., and Jay (Amy) Huss, Washington, Pa. She had nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Lucy loved and will miss her beloved dog, Bailey.

The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions in Lucy’s name be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Rd, Williamsport, PA 17701 or to the Gatehouse, Susquehanna Health Foundation, 1001 Grampian Blvd, Williamsport, PA 17701.

There will be no viewing. Funeral services will be at St. Ann church and will be announced at a later date.
