Donna L. Winter, 86, of Cogan Station, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at The Gatehouse.
Born April 22, 1937, in Cogan Station, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Vance) Rhone.
Donna was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking, cooking, and reading.
Donna is survived by three sons, Raymond (Barb) Winter, and Robert (Sherry) Winter, both of Cogan Station, and Rodney (Stacy) Winter, of Montoursville; a daughter, Deb (Rick) Detrick, of Williamsport; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Loy Stroble, of Cogan Station.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Robert Winter; and two brothers, Theodore Rhone and Vern Rhone.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with pastor Greg Sanford officiating. A private burial will follow in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to either UPMC Hospice or The Gate House at Divine Providence, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
