Stephen J. Folk, 64, of Montoursville, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport. Born Nov. 29, 1959, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Dean G. and the late Ruth M. (Callahan) Folk.
Stephen and his spouse, Marian L. Folk, married on May 21, 1988, and shared 35 wonderful years. Stephen was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his two daughters. He was a lifetime member of the Lost 8 Hunting Club.
He was dedicated to his family and children's education, whether coaching in various sports or enjoying band concerts. You could always find him on Friday nights in the MAHS band boosters concession stand making pizza or helping with anything else needed.
He was previously employed as a Kitchen Designer for Covenant Builders and was a member of Episcopal Church of Our Saviour of Montoursville.
Stephen is survived by his wife Marian L. Folk, of Montoursville; daughters, Megan E. Folk, of Alexandria, Va., and Marissa D. Folk, of Winston-Salem, N.C.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at McCarty~Thomas Funeral home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville. Friends may call from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. At 7 p.m. a brief service will follow with Pastor Lauri A. Kerr officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 3 North Loyalsock Ave., Montoursville, PA 17754.
