Mrs. Susan Hilda Emick, 62, of Hoppestown, Pa., passed away on the evening of March 31, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after collapsing at home.
Born in Dover, Del. to Audrey J. Moon, and Eugene A. Moon. She lived in many different places in her youth, due to her father being in the Air Force. She lived in Pennsylvania for the majority of her life. She recently retired from Pneu-Dart and was enjoying her new found free time. She enjoyed reading, helping her husband with all of his adventures, playing solitaire, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was looking forward to the birth of her great grandchild, who is due May, 6 2024.
Sue was well loved by all who knew her. She was willing to help anyone who was in need. She liked making people smile. She loved listening to music and dancing around. Spending time with her loved ones was her favorite past time.
She was preceded in death by her father Eugene A. Moon in 1983, and her Step Father James L. Lewis March 12, 2024
Surviving family are her husband Robert S. Emick, they would have been married 42 years May 15, 2024, two daughters, Tiffany M. Barton of Montoursville; Desirée R. Craig (Charles) of Hughesville. Her mother Audrey J. Moon of Hoppestown; brothers, Kevin Moon (Cindy) of Nebraska; Arnold Moon of Montoursville; and her sister, Patricia Davidson (Mark) of Montoursville. Her grandchildren, DeeAnna S. Feaster (Austin) of Williamsport; and Jayden Gentzyel of Hughesville. Along with many nieces, nephew, great nieces and nephews.
We are honoring Sue's wishes by donating her body to science. We will be having a memorial service On Sunday May 5, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Barbour's School, 179 Dunwoody Road, Williamsport, Pa 17701.
