Beatrice (Dolly) J. Sullivan, 88, of Williamsport, passed away on May 1, 2024, at Heritage Springs Memory Care Senior Living Community in Montoursville. She was married to Alvah E. Sullivan in 1959 and celebrated 57 years of marriage, until Alvah passed away in 2016.
Born on October 10, 1935, in Williamsport, Beatrice was a daughter of James A. and Carrie V. (Moon) Boatman. She enjoyed hosting family get togethers at their Rose Valley Lake house, playing bingo, taking trips to casinos, and bus trips with her late husband Alvah. Beatrice had a long career with H&R Block as a tax preparer.
In addition to her husband, Beatrice was preceded in death by her daughter, Gloria McDermott.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra (Tim Aunkst) Welliver, of Lewisburg and Linda (Mike) Rae, of Williamsport; one son, Robert Sullivan, of Loyalsock; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A viewing for friends and family will be held from 4 – 5 p.m. May 4, at McCarty Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Barbour's Cemetery.
The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Heritage Springs Memory Care, 878 Old Cement Rd., Muncy, Pa 17756.
