Patricia Louise Wright, 69, of Williamsport, passed away on Nov. 24, 2023, at The Gatehouse. Born Dec. 14, 1953 in Spangler, she was the daughter of the late James and Virginia Wright.
She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 1971. She then earned her associates of science degree from Williamsport Area Community College. She retired from Wynwood Personal Care Home as a resident assistant and medical technician.
She was an avid nature and animal lover. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was very active and loved within her church. Patricia was known for her creativity, crafting and joy of writing, as well as her generous, caring and loving personality.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Spitler (Matthew Bower), of Williamsport; a son, Benjamin Comfort IV (Annie), of Williamsport; a son, Patric Wright (Brittany), of Bellefonte; a brother, Ron Wright (June), of Williamsport; eight grandkids; seven great grandkids.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Riverfront Park in Loyalsock from 2-5 p.m.
