Douglas A. Barto, 65, of Hughesville, passed away June 9, 2024 with his family by his side at The Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born November 19, 1958 in Muncy, he was the son of the late Eugene L. Barto, who died in 1981, and Dorothy M. (Rovenolt) Barto of Mifflinburg. On July 17, 2010 he married the former Mildred L. Lehman and they have celebrated 13 years of marriage.

He had been employed with Lundy Construction for 36 years and loved hunting, fishing, and anything he could do outdoors. He shot clay targets religiously and was a member of multiple outdoor sportsmen’s clubs.

Surviving besides his mother Dorothy, and his wife, Mildred Barto, are two daughters: Cassie L. Hall and her husband Josh and Michelle J. Barto, all of Montgomery, and two grandchildren: Scarlett and Hazel Hall.

Preceding him in death besides his father was a brother, Clifford D. Barto.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
