Mrs. Mona Gohl Robinson

Mrs. Mona Gohl Robinson entered her eternal home in full hope of a blessed immortality beyond the grave on January 2, 2025. Her spirit took its flight and returned to the God who gave it.

She was the daughter of Archie Gohl and Margaret Kiess Gohl, born on Sept. 21, 1925. She and her late husband, William E. Robinson Jr. celebrated 65 years together before his passing. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Mona is survived by three children, William L. Robinson, Kathy L. Clark (Gary), and Jeffrey K. Robinson (Lorre), all of Linden; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In her early years, she worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” at Piper Aircraft to help support her family while her brothers were at war. She was the best farmers wife and support to her family. She volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels to the aging for over forty years until Covid at the age of 95. She and her husband were members of the Gideon’s International, distributing Bibles all around the world. She was a member of the Mountain View Alliance Church in Jersey Shore.

She was the essence of love and a positive inspiration to everyone she met. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116:15

The family will host a celebration of life in her favorite season and place on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Robinson River Homestead, per Mona’s request.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
