Sherry K. Fryer

Sherry K. Fryer, 72, of Jersey Shore, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport. Surviving is her husband, Robert W. Fryer with whom she would have celebrated 14 years of marriage on February 11.

Born April 2, 1952, in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter of the late Clifton L. and Nancy C. (Mattern) Cohick.

Sherry was a 1971 graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School. She formerly worked at the Williamsport Home in the kitchen. Sherry enjoyed word search puzzles and spending time at the family farm with the animals.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two brothers Wayne Cohick and Richard Cohick (Denise) both of Jersey Shore; a sister Cindy Long (Jack) of Trout Run; several nieces and nephews; a step-son; three step-daughters; step-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Tommy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband David L. Spong, a brother Roger L. Cohick, and a sister Linda F. Hughes.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
