Linda K. Heivly

Linda K. Heivly, 74, of Duboistown passed away, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at her home.

Born November 15, 1950 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Garman, Dorothy E. (Bonnell) Jones, and stepfather Nestor Jones Sr.

She worked as a supervisor at the former Litton Industries for 38 years and retired from there in 2013. Linda was a member of VFW Post 7863, Duboistown, and the Polish Club, Williamsport. Linda had a lot of spunk. She enjoyed sitting on her porch with friends and spending time with her family. She adored all her grandchildren and was over-the-moon in love with her great- granddaughter, Scarlett Kae.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Edward M. Heivly; one son, Stephen D. Lane (Kimberly), of Williamsport; three grandchildren, Dr. Samantha Lee (Ethan), Jacob Andy, and Alex Andy; one great grand-daughter, Scarlett Lee, all of Williamsport; three siblings, Clifford Garman (Daria), of South Williamsport, Debra Baker (Roger), of Loyalsock, Lisa Garman (David), of Mill Hall, stepsister Esther Pepperman, of Duboistown, stepbrother Alan Jones (Peggy), of Williamsport; her loving friend for many years, Dee Kurtz, friend/caretaker, Kathy Cook, both of Duboistown; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Trimm; two stepbrothers, Nestor Jones Jr., Michael Jones, and one grandson, Joshua D’Andrea Andy.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, services will be private.
