Beverly J. Adams, 90, of Williamsport, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at WeCare at Loyalsock. Born February 26, 1935, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Raymond J. and Martha E. (Shaffer) Kragle.
Beverly loved her cats Smokey & Tigger, and her loving niece Audrey who cared for her. She enjoyed attending to her house plants. Beverly worked for over 20 yrs. and retired as a inspector for Glamorize Garments of Williamsport.
The family would like to say thank you to Beverly's neighbors who would check in on her, and to Don Rhinehart and her lifelong friend Laura Michaels.
Beverly is survived by many nieces and nephews and a Cousin Shirley Bittenbender.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Adams, Sr., sons, Franklin Adams, Jr., Kenneth Adams; sister, Evelyn Shaffer; brothers, Clarence and Howard Shaffer.
Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street Montoursville, with Pastor Eric H. Hartshaw officiating. Burial will follow at Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Just Cats or to SPCA 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport PA, 17701.
