Harry E. Glazewski, 77, of Hughesville, died Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport.
Born October 11, 1947, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Harry and Helene (Jasinski) Glazewski. He and his wife Helene shared a wonderful life together, married for 55 years.
He started his adolescent / adult life as a Philadelphian "Bad boy" whose heart was captured by Helene (mom) Morton several decades ago. During which time he attended a few semesters at Temple University which ended with his USAF unit being activated. Not long after marrying, they moved to Williamsport PA where Harry embarked on his career in "sales".
Typical characteristics: loyal, curious / inquisitive, confident, compassionate, opinionated / stubborn, analytical, disciplined and a true master at making a connection with anyone at any time. He would on many occasions even dress unexpectedly to spark a conversation or lighten the mood / icebreaker. I was recently reminded of one such instance when he showed up wearing Safari shorts and a Pith Helmet for a "Brand" meeting (late 90's-early 2000's). The Pith helmet ultimately became a signature look / calling card for a good portion of his career.
Many have shared their stories about how Harry positively affected them personally. He would start every day thinking about who he may meet and what their story may be.
However: He will always be a Devoted Husband, Father / Grandfather who is Loved, Cherished and Celebrated every DAY.
Harry is survived by his loving wife, Helene, of Hughesville; son, Fredrick H. (Donna) Glazewski of Hughesville; daughter, Loretta M. (Brian) Webster, of Muncy; two grandsons, Andrew and Timothy Null; three step-grandsons, Liam Webster, Ronan Webster, and Ian Miller; a step-granddaughter, Tekla Webster; and by a special cousin, Charles Kwiatkowski.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elise Null.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 at the McCarty Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, PA 17754. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
