Chase Alexander Kilgus
Chase Alexander Kilgus, born January 15, 2002, in Williamsport, left us too soon on June 3, 2025. He was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, and friend. He had a love of gaming, making music (beats), writing lyrics, hiking, fishing, reading, researching, working out, meditation, and constantly seeking a way to enlighten the people around him to the chaos in the world. He wanted the best for everybody. He was always there when you needed him. He will be missed by everybody, especially his mother, who has never gone a day without being his greatest supporter and rock.
Chase graduated from Loyalsock High School, Class of 2020. He entered the Navy later that summer and was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, on the CG 62 Chancellorsville as an Operations Specialist. After returning home from his service, he worked at various local jobs.
He is survived by his parents, Karen Lee (Diegel) Miura and Keith Charles Kilgus; maternal grandparents, Sharleen and Thomas Shoff, and David and wife Lisa Diegel; a nephew, David Diegel and wife Alexis; a niece, Natalie Diegel; Karen’s boyfriend, Paul Reed; Keith’s wife, Lori Kilgus; a brother, Riley and wife Alexis Kilgus; a nephew, Kaiden Kilgus; and a niece, Rosselyn Kilgus.
Chase was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Larry and Rebecca Kilgus.
