Olive R. Gilbert-Parke, 99, of Montoursville, PA, died Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Arcadia at Limerick. Born September 2, 1925, in Montoursville, she was a daughter of the late Emerson and Helen (Nunn) Gilbert.
Olive was a graduate of the Temple University School of Nursing and worked for many years in the nursing field to include being a Charge Nurse for the Labor and Delivery Department at the Williamsport Hospital.
Olive is survived by a daughter, Carol Gmitter-Hoffman; a grandson, Michael (Jessica) Gmitter, of Pottstown; two granddaughters, Olivia Tomko, of Hatboro, and Lucy An, of Landsdale; two great-grandsons, Aidan Gmitter and Charlie Tomko; and two great-granddaughters, Natalie and Paige Tomko. Olive was preceded in death by her father, Emerson Gilbert, as well as her mother, Helen (Nunn) Gilbert.
In accordance with Olive's wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
