Thomas Francis Delycure, 78, of Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport.
Born January 10, 1947, in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Francis and Lottie (Toloczko) Delycure.
Thomas served his country honorably in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, he was employed as a meat cutter at several local grocery stores throughout his career, including A&P, Acme, and Supersaver until he retired in 2011. Thomas was an active member of many organizations, including the United Food Commercial Workers International Union, American Legion Post 104, the Republican Club, 40 et 8 Highland Lake, and the Knights of Columbus. In his free time, he loved to fish and watch the Game Show Network. Thomas was also a die-hard Eagles and Phillies fan.
Thomas is survived by his loving companion of 34 years, Mary Wilson; a step-daughter, Barbara Wertz; a step-son, Steven Wilson; a granddaughter, Madison Wertz; a brother, Francis Delycure, of Montoursville; a sister, Mary (Thomas) Rossi, of Utica, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by three sisters, Kathleen Delycure, Patricia Troisi, and Gloria Bellott.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday June 11, at Our lady of Lourdes Church, 800 Mulberry Street, Montoursville, with Reverend Michael McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville.
Thomas's family would like to extend a special thank you to the intensive care nurses and staff for their care.
