Frederick E. Wesley, Sr

Frederick E. Wesley Sr., 90, of Cogan Station, went to his eternal rest on July 23, 2025.

He was born June 5, 1935 in Williamsport, a son to the late Paul D. and Florence Wesley.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dolores (Sommers Bower) Wesley; sons Randall (Donna) and Thomas (Teresa) Wesley; and daughter Bonita (Bill) Doebler. He is also survived by stepsons Gregory (Lee), Jeffery (Linda), and Mark (Tina) Bower; stepdaughter Cheri (Mike) Anello Linn; as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Frederick was self-employed after working for Anchor Darling Valve for 17 years, a Korean War Veteran, a member of Lycoming Creek Anglers Club, and Veterans of American Legion.

He is predeceased by his parents, brother Henry Delos Wesley; stepsisters Mary Thompson, Edith Heim, Thelma Fisher, and Helen Lilley; as well as brothers in law Gene, Jack, and Wayne Sommers; stepson in law Jeffrey Anello; and great-grandson, Cooper Anello.

The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday July 31, 2025.

A Funeral Service will be held at Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701 at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025 with Rev. Glenn E. McCreary officiating. Burial to follow at Wildwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Fred’s name to the Lycoming Creek Anglers Club, 2079 Blair St., Williamsport PA 17701.
