Nancy Marshall

Nancy Marshall, 86 of Jersey Shore went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at her home.

Born August 16, 1938 in Williamsport, she was the daughter to the late Carl Doebler and the former Iva W. Kohler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Marshall on February 8, 2015, they were united in marriage on September 2, 1961; her daughter Patricia Grace Marshall on April 24, 2010. Her siblings: Carl (Buster) Doebler, Jim Doebler, and Beverly (Joan) Lewis.

Nancy honorably served her country in the United States Army. While serving her country she had the honor of playing in the marching band for President Eisenhower’s inauguration, as she was an accomplished oboe player.

She was a member of the Nippenose Bible Fellowship Church. She had many talents, crocheting was one of them, most of which she did for family and friends. She was known for the Easter Eggs she would make every year, to her family and friends, they were the best!

Nancy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family; whether it was the great family meals she prepared or taking trips on the motorcycle with her family to Niagara Falls, Gettysburg or wherever the road took them.

She is survived by her sons, Russell A. (Tina) Marshall, of Larryville, Clifford C. (Kathy) Marshall, of Linden, Daniel L. (Stephanie) Marshall, of Jersey Shore, and Lester W. Marshall (Jonathan), of Jersey Shore; daughters, Karen D. (Kenneth) Younkin, of Cogan Station and Kathy A. (James) Moltz, of Jersey Shore; her grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Rebecca, Ryan, Madalyn, Daniel, and Sydney; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 14 at the Nippenose Bible Fellowship, 92 Schoolhouse Rd., Jersey Shore. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Salladasburg Cemetery will full military honors conducted by the Korean War Veterans.
