Virginia L. Zeigler

Virginia L. Zeigler, 79, of Williamsport died peacefully Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Muncy Place.
Born January 8, 1946, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Isabelle (LaVoie) Myers.
Virginia married the love of her life, Donald Zeigler, and together they shared 60 years of marriage before his passing on December 20, 2023. For over 20 years, she worked in the food service department within the Williamsport School District.
Virginia was a woman of deep faith and devotion, attending St. Joseph the Worker Parish and previously a member of the former Annunciation Catholic Church in Williamsport. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, spending quiet moments with a good book, tending lovingly to her garden, and cherishing time with her family. To those who knew and loved her, she was affectionately known as “Mom-O,” a name that perfectly captured her nurturing spirit, wisdom, and warmth. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she held dear.
Virginia is survived by her children, David Zeigler (Lori), of Duboistown, Donald Zeigler of Philadelphia and Lisa Zeigler of South Williamsport; four grandchildren, Sam Zeigler (Lana) of Oson, Korea, Kelsey Beard (Paul) of Montoursville, Chelsea Miller of Muncy, and Shawn Miller (Kali) of South Williamsport; five great grandchildren with one on the way, Carson, Cooper, Sonni, Arthur, Allister, and August; two brothers, Donald Myers (Teresa) and Edward Myers (Betty); and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne McQuillen.
A memorial service to honor Virginia’s life will be held 10 a.m., Friday, August 1, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Muncy. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of service, Friday, at Sanders.
