Andrea L. Hill

Andrea L. Hill, 64, of Jersey Shore passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on August 8, 2025, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Born on March 13, 1961, Andrea was a devoted follower of Christ whose steadfast faith remained her foundation through every stage of her illness. Her unwavering trust in God’s promises was a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew her. A beloved member of Pine Creek Valley Christian Church, Andrea found great joy and comfort in the fellowship of her church family.

Later in life, Andrea worked as a self-employed painter. She was known for her tireless work ethic, her attention to detail, and a uniquely positive outlook. Andrea instilled these same qualities – faith, perseverance, and a cheerful spirit – in her children. Her influence lives on in each of them.

Andrea is survived by her husband, Thomas Hill Sr.; her mother, Phyllis Bitler; and her sister Diane (Eugene) Thomas. She was a devoted mother to Amelia (Steve) Mahoney, David Snyder, Matthew Snyder, Libby (Chris) Glunk, Thomas Hill Jr., Melissa Hill, and Amy Hill. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Andrea is now reunited in Heaven with her son, Jonathan Snyder, who preceded her in death. The family finds peace in knowing they are together again.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at noon at Pine Creek Valley Christian Church at 26 Locomo Lane, Jersey Shore, PA 17740. All who knew and loved Andrea are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
