Candace A. “Candy” Jensen

Candace A. “Candy” Jensen, 75, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Born on May 3, 1950, Candy’s life was marked by her spirited nature and creative soul, traits that endeared her to all who knew her.
Candy’s journey began in Williamsport where she was born, a daughter of the late LeRoy Fornwalt, Sr., and Virginia (Adams) Fornwalt. She grew up surrounded by her siblings, Sandra Young, LeRoy Fornwalt, Jr., Linda Prince, and Doris Ashton, all of whom preceded her in death, leaving behind a legacy of love and shared memories.
The heart of Candy’s world was her beloved husband of 38 years, Scott T. Jensen. She was a devoted mother to her four children, Chuck Wellen, III, Kevin DeSeau (Reyna), Jodi Miller (Ken), and Matthew Wellen (Cassandra). Her love multiplied with the arrival of her nine grandchildren who called her “Gee”, Lorenzo, Tobias, Richard, Trygg, Bradley (Autumn), Morgan (Kurt), Makenzie (Justin), Madisyne, and Bianca, and further blossomed with her four great-grandchildren, Adelina, Karsin, Penelope, and Lennix. Though her heart ached for the loss of her great-granddaughter Paisley, Candy’s legacy continues through her loving family, including numerous nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
Candy’s passion for life was evident in the way she celebrated the holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween. She found immense joy in driving for hours to marvel at Christmas lights, a tradition that brought wonder to her and those she loved. At home, Candy was a haven of warmth and creativity. She spent countless hours immersed in adult coloring books, her artistic touch bringing vibrant life to each page. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, where she cooked for her family, infusing each dish with love and care. The simple pleasure of being at home, surrounded by her family, was Candy’s greatest treasure.
