Carol Jean Rupert

Carol Jean Rupert, 80, recent resident of Wolf Run Village, longtime resident of Muncy passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from complications of lung cancer and COPD.

She was born in Lock Haven on July 01, 1945, the youngest child of the late Lloyd and Edna Bechdel Etters of Beech Creek. She was married for 34 years to Kenneth C. Rupert Sr. who died Nov 22, 2003.

A 1963 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School, in her younger years she worked at Bobbie Brooks and after her children were grown at Arby’s Lycoming Mall.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Jr. (Robert) of Bedminster, NJ and Terry (Michelle) of Danville; three grandchildren, Austin Rupert (Catherine) of Mechanicsburg, Dylan Rupert (Laura) of Mocanaqua and Marissa Rupert of Danville; three great-grandchildren, Thallia, Elise and Evelyn with another on the way; two sisters, Lois Shawley of Lock Haven, Shirley Seyler of Beech Creek and a brother, James Etters of Beech Creek.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by sisters, Mary Hanley, Beverly Rupert, Relda Kinley, Dorothy Askins and brothers, Lloyd Etters, Richard Etters, Robert Etters and Raymond Etters.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Lycoming County SPCA.
