Dana Charles Williams

Dana Charles Williams passed away August 8, 2025 after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 18,1953 in Olean, NY to Charles and Svea (Tenglund) Williams.
Dana was a 1971 graduate of Hughesville high school and a 1973 graduate of Williamsport Area Community College (now known as Pennsylvania College of Technology). He served in the US Army Corps of Engineers from 1973-80. He retired from Equipment Depot (formerly Forklifts Inc.) in 2015, where he was affectionately known as “the Bloomsburg Branch”. He enjoyed reading, NASCAR, and traveling. Dana was a former Boy Scout, volunteered for Hughesville and Stratmoore Hills fire companies, and donated many pints of platelets for leukemia patients.
Dana is survived by the love of his life and wife of 53 years, Susan (Treese) Williams and daughter Amber Williams of Jerseytown; daughter Kristina (Williams) Remish and grandchild Sophia “Sam” Remish of Eyers Grove. Also surviving are mother-in-law JoAn Myers, brother- and sister-in-law Rusty and Rhonda (Treese) Koch of Eyers Grove; and nieces and nephews in Eyers Grove, Colorado and Florida. He will also be missed by his Tuesday morning breakfast club and his beloved Shih Tzu, Oberhonda Snackworthy.
In addition to his parents, Dana was predeceased by his brothers Donald M. Reynolds and David R. Williams; and sister Donna Garretson.
Pursuant to Dana’s request, services will be privately held at the family’s convenience.
