Edythe “Edie” DeMarco
Edythe “Edie” DeMarco entered into Paradise to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on July 27th, 2025 while at home surrounded by family. She was born in Wellsville, NY on September 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Ray and Agnes (Lunn) Wilcox.
She was predeceased by husband Robert A. Wozniak and second husband Anthony “Tony” DeMarco; brothers Ray “Bud” Wilcox, Bruce Wilcox, and Herman Wilcox, and sister Janice Gustafson.
Edie is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Tim Wilkins of Williamsport, PA; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jimmy Meade of Flower Mound, TX, and children James and Laura; son and daughter-in-law, Robert “Rob” Jr. and Mary Wozniak of Hershey, PA, and children Robert “Bobby” III (Briana), Stephen (Anya), and Joseph; daughter Lauren Douphin of Williamsport, PA, and her daughter Jasmine; great-grandchildren Paisley, Bradley, Phoebe, Palmer, Brayden, Philippa, and Gracelyn; brother and sister-in-law, David and Claire “Tinker” Wilcox, sister Carole Nero, brother Rodger Wilcox, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Edie was a 1948 graduate of Wellsville High School, Wellsville, NY. In 1951, she earned her RN from E. J. Meyer School of Nursing in Buffalo, NY and served as a nurse of all capacities for many years, while lovingly raising her family.
After moving to the Williamsport, PA area in 2007, she enjoyed being a long time member of the Lycoming County Penn State Extension Master Gardener volunteer program and was involved at various area Senior Centers.
She attended Community Baptist Church of Montoursville, PA, where a Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 11 a.m.
