Geraldine A. Fessler

Geraldine A. Fessler, 89, of South Williamsport passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the Gatehouse surrounded by family.
Born August 24, 1936 in Williamsport she was a daughter of the late Donald A. and Florence T. (Rudinski) Crisman.
Geraldine was a devoted and faithful member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, where she lovingly served as a Sunday school teacher and was active in the Altar and Rosary Society. She also dedicated her time as secretary for the Lycoming County Board of Realtors. Above all else, Geraldine’s greatest joy was her family. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she spent her life caring for her children and cherishing every moment with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She also held a special place in her heart for her dogs, who brought her constant companionship and joy.
Surviving are six children, Denise Quinn (Ronald) of Mifflinburg, Michele Brown (Chris), of Billings, MO, Colette Kropp (Harold), of Williamsport, Lee Fessler (Linda) of South Williamsport, Jeanine Waltz (Jeffrey) and David Fessler (Angela) both of Montoursville; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 25, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 800 W. Central Ave, South Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m. at church Monday. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Muncy will be held at the convenience of the family.
