Susan L. (Treese) Williams

Susan L (Treese) Williams, 71, of Bloomsburg, died August 26, 2025, of a broken heart 18 days after losing her beloved husband, Dana. She was born September 16, 1953, in Williamsport, PA a daughter of Joan (Bennett) Myers and the late Elton Treese.

Sue grew up in Hughesville and was a 1971 graduate of Hughesville High School. Sue married the love of her life Dana in 1972. Sue, Dana, and their children traveled the world while Dana served in the military, living in Colorado, Germany, and New York. She was a 2001 graduate from Luzerne County Community College with a degree in Paralegal Studies. She retired from the legal department at Geisinger Health System in 2015. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for hospice patients, traveling, hostessing and spending time with her family.

Sue is survived by her daughters, Amber Williams of Jerseytown and Kristina (Williams) Remish, and grandchild, Sophia (Sam) Remish of Eyers Grove. She is additionally survived by her mother, Joan Myers; her sister, Rhonda, and her husband Rusty Koch of Eyers Grove, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Eyers Grove, Lycoming County, Colorado and Florida.

Sue was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years Dana Williams on August 8, 2025.

Susan requested services be held privately at the family’s convenience. She will be missed by her Tuesday Morning Breakfast club and her beloved Shih Tzu, Oberhonda Snackworthy.
