Willard James Ramph Jr.

Willard James Ramph Jr., 81, of Jersey Shore, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at his home.

Born Dec. 31, 1943, in Danville, he was a son to the late Willard and Edna (Miles) Ramph. Graduated from Kulpmont High School in 1961 and Williamsport Community College in 1985. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Timmy Ramph; and twin granddaughters.

Willard honorably served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, antique cars, birdwatching and had a love for all animals, but his greatest love was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, the former Mary Ann Broda; children, Melanie Strileckis (Nick Solla), of Prospect Conn., Karen (Jon) Frantz, of Jersey Shore, Heidi (Jeremy) English, of Millville, and Willard (Jenny) Ramph, of Bensalem; grandchildren, Lee, Joey and Charlie Frantz, Aidan Strileckis and Meggan English; a sister, Linda (Edwin) Begis, of Kulpmont, a brother, Barry (Anna Marie) Ramph, of Kulpmont; a nephew, Ed Begis Jr., and nieces, Jennifer (David) Stahr, Stacy Poplett and Nicole Ramph.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at Welker Funeral Home followed by full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard. He will be laid to rest in the Northumberland Memorial Park.
