Barbara E. (Wance) Koch

Barbara E. (Wance) Koch, aged 76, of McElhattan, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025. She was born on September 24, 1948, in Bellefonte, to the late Randall and Pauline (Rossman) Wance.

Barbara dedicated her professional life to providing excellent service as a Customer Service Representative at Kmart. Her work ethic and commitment were admired by colleagues and customers alike.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Barbara enjoyed spending time with family, also tending to her garden and tending to her garden or decorating her home inside and out, Barbara’s touch brought warmth and beauty to her surroundings.

Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie E. Wance; and her sister, Mary Elliftawi. She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry R. Koch; her son, Duane Koch and his wife Christine; her daughter, Stacy Edkin; and four grandchildren. Her family will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, services will be held privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, located at 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore, PA.
