Kathleen Campana Hutchinson

Kathleen Campana Hutchinson, 73, passed away on September 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

She was born in Williamsport on Oct. 31, 1951, a daughter to the late Dr. Louis F. and Rose A. (Neatrour) Campana. Kathy was the third born of eleven children in a loving and active household.

She was a 1969 graduate of the former St. Joseph High School, later graduating with a BS from Campbell University in 1973. Kathy was instrumental throughout her career in the co-creation of Hutchinson Companies, a family real estate development company.

Kathy was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and especially her children, grandchildren, and beloved dog Louie. She was a well-versed traveler, spending many trips with family on tours of Europe. On one occasion she even went skydiving. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Kathy was touched by her kindness, generosity, and compassion.

Kathy is survived by her former husband George A. Hutchinson, children, Olivia Hutchinson, Gabriel (Rachael) Hutchinson, and Natalie (Travis) Pena, all of Williamsport; grandchildren Anthony Hutchinson, Angelo Casas, Dylan and Gianna Hutchinson; siblings Mary Lou (John) Forgione, Joanne Cooke, Dolly (Dan) Welch, Jan Slavick, Dr. Louis F. (Dreena) Campana II, Dr. Thomas J. (Donna) Campana, Yvonne (Matthew) DiRocco, Dr. Gabriel J. Campana, and Gemma (Dominick) Bragalone; sister-in-law Robyn Campana; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Dr. Stephen J. Campana and partner Harold F. Ohnmeiss Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W 4th St., Williamsport, PA 17701 at 11 a.m., Saturday Sept. 20, 2025, with Rev. David W. Bechtel officiating. A reception will be held after services for family and friends.

The family will receive friends and family the night before, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025 at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to either the Lycoming Co. S.P.C.A., 2805 Reach Rd. Williamsport, PA 17701, or the American Rescue Workers, 643 Elmira St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
