Paula P. Barr

Paula P. Barr, age 98 of Cogan Station passed away at home on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Born May 19, 1927 in Nelson, PA, she was the daughter of the late Max and Leona (Kemp) Chilson. Paula enjoyed sewing, gardening and any type of flowers. She was a kind, sweet, giving woman and always made sure she looked good. Most of all she was a wonderful grandmother to all her grandkids.

Paula is survived by her children, Maxine H. (Robert) Ross of CA, Kimberly K. Long of Cogan Station, PA, Steven A. Long of Williamsport and Kelly M. Long of Williamsport; 10 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; her sister, Kay Miller of Elkland; dearest friend, Jan Brink and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Arnold Long and Raymond Barr; her companion, George Myers; granddaughter, Summer McCue; sister, Jeanette Mendias and brother, Wynn Chilson.
