Richard A. Yaggie, Sr

Richard A. Yaggie, Sr., 65, of Montoursville, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Troy on December 14, 1959, to the late Adam C. and Thelma J. (Russell) Yaggie, Jr.
Richard was a member of the American Legion Post 104 in Montoursville, Eagles Club, Masons, and the Forty and Eight Club. He worked as a department manager at Lowes until he retired. Richard liked to cook, feed the birds, and take care of his vegetable garden. He loved his dog, Boo-Boo, and going on long drives. In his younger years, he was an avid deer hunter. Richard was an excellent Pappy and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Richard is survived by two sons, Richard A. Yaggie, Jr., of Cogan Station; and Bryan Yaggie of Williamsport; and four grandchildren, Evan, Hannah, Johnathan, and Willow Yaggie. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by a sister, Marie Spencer.
A celebration of life service for Richard will be held at noon on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation and Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Family and friends are invited to attend a public viewing from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will be in North Union Cemetery, Canton.
