Doris M. (Jenkins-Horn) Wilson

Doris M. (Jenkins-Horn) Wilson, 92, of Williamsport, passed away on October 19, 2025. She was born on June 25, 1933, in Williamsport, the daughter of the late Phenie Horn.
Doris was raised in Williamsport and graduated from Williamsport High School. She was employed for many years by GTE Sylvania. After retirement, she continued serving the community through her work with Community Home Health Agency. Doris and her husband, Albert A. Wilson, shared a deep commitment to their faith and served together on an eighteen-month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Active in her community, Doris was a past member of the Susquehanna Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association and the Bald Eagle Art League. She was an accomplished artist and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Doris was known for her sense of humor, love, and concern for her family.
She is survived by her son, Ricardo Wilson of Ohio; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Her family includes: Diana Johnson (Harris Waldo) of Jacksonville, FL; Ricardo C. Wilson of Cape Coral, FL; and his children Amir and Amari, and Amari’s daughter, Yemaya Marcus; Naysha T. Belanus of Cape Coral, FL; and her daughter, Azalea; Denise Heimer of Labelle, MO; Gerald Anderson Jr. of Williamsport; Luther C. Anderson (Jessica) of Winston-Salem, NC: and their children Laila, Wilson, and Gianna; and Luthea Perez of Williamsport; and her daughters, Tina Marie and Mackenzie.
Doris will be lovingly remembered by extended family and dear friends, including Carolyn and Charles Farrell, Sandra and Gerald Anderson Sr., Nancy Strothers, Terrie Kennedy, Kristine and Victor Wright, Nancy Belanus, and Ronal Jenkins.
In addition to her mother, Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Wilson, and her daughter, Tina L. Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Family and friends are invited to attend a public viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Monday. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport.
