Matthew Eugene Bergerstock

Matthew Eugene Bergerstock, 43, of Saint Petersburg, FL, passed away suddenly on September 29th, 2025 after being struck by a vehicle. He was born on November 3rd, 1981 in Williamsport, PA to Mary Beth & David Bergerstock. Matthew graduated from Hughesville High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Lock Haven University. Matthew’s career was dedicated to Operations Management, Sales and Marketing at Dewalt. Matthew was a 32-degree Mason with Lodge #755 in Williamsport, PA. Matthew enjoyed all sports and was a dedicated Tampa Bay Lightning fan as well as a life-long San Francisco 49ers fan. Matthew also enjoyed paddleboarding and all beach-related activities. Matthew’s number one passion was his nephew Carson, whom he loved and adored.

Matthew is survived by his parents, David and MaryBeth Bergerstock; a brother, Marc Bergerstock; a nephew, Carson; an Uncle, Tim Bergerstock (Kandace) and two cousins Brett and Kara. Matthew is preceded by death, grandparents, Don and Carole Bergerstock; Gene and Barbara Saar and a brother, Michael.
