William “Bill” George Emery

William “Bill” George Emery of Williamsport, PA, slipped the bonds of this earth for his eternal life on September 26, 2025 at home.

Bill was born in Washington, Pennsylvania on August 17, 1966 to William R. and Leddie C. Emery.

He was a graduate of Mount Lebanon High School, Pittsburgh, PA. Later, he earned an undergraduate degree in education from Bucknell University and a master’s degree in school administration, specifically school principal from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA.

Bill married his soul mate, Pamela Lee Cortinovis of Williamsport, PA. They shared 35 magical years of marriage together.

He worked with the Williamsport Area School District as a teacher, department supervisor of Social Studies, and building principal.

Road course racing was Bill’s ultimate passion. He raced for over 17 years first in his RX7 and then TR7. He also loved to travel with Pam, especially to Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.

Bill is survived by Pamela Cortinovis Emery; step daughter, Rachel Muffley and grandson, Aidan Scalise.

A memorial ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family.
