AnnaFaye Fry, 88, of Pennsdale, died Thursday, November 20, 2025, at UPMC Muncy Place.
Born on September 24, 1937, in Selinsgrove, PA, AnnaFaye was a daughter of the late Harvey Stauffer, Sr. and Martha (Maurer) Stauffer. She and her husband Clifford N. Fry shared a wonderful life and were married for 66 years at the time of his passing on February 24, 2021.
In her earlier years, AnnaFaye was a seamstress and babysitter while raising her family at home. She was also previously employed as a Secretary at Muncy Chief Hybrids. AnnaFaye was a member of Pennsdale Trinity United Methodist Church. She was known for her love of crocheting doilies, tablecloths and afghan's as well as her cooking, baking and canning, especially her apple dumplings. AnnaFaye also enjoyed cooking holiday meals for her family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Fry (Robin) of Pennsdale; a daughter, Wanda Fry-Costain of Littlestown; grandaughter, Jessica Costain and grandson, Aaron Fry (Kayla), and two great-grandaughters, Emma and Holly Fry ; a brother, Robert Stauffer of Detroit, MI; sister, Jane Hoffman of Watsontown; brother, Jerry Stauffer (Georgia) of Muncy, and brother, Harvey Stauffer, Jr. (Kathy) of Muncy.
In addition to being preceded in death by her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael Costain.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water Street, Hughesville with Pastor David Dearing officiating. Burial will follow at Twin Hills Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, one half hour prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in AnnaFaye's name to Pennsdale Trinity UMC.
