Dolores L. Brennan

Dolores L. Brennan, 93, formerly of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at UPMC, Muncy.

Born on November 2, 1932, in Dewart, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Sherman) Burrows. She married her husband, Allen Brennan, who predeceased her on April 25, 1986.

Dolores was a graduate of Watsontown High School. She spent much of her adult years raising and taking care of family.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, Montgomery.

Dolores was an avid sports fan and loved the Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Steelers. In earlier years she was a volunteer on the Montgomery election board. Dolores also enjoyed reading and spending time with her great-great nieces and nephews, Charlotte, Mia and Gene.

Surviving is her brother, Charles Burrows and his wife, Yvonne; nephews, Pat Deitrick and his wife, Donna, and Joe Deitrick and his wife, Marian; a sister-in-law, Bette Deitrick Hakes; and great nieces and nephews, Michael Welteroth, Ashley Deitrick and Ryan Deitrick.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Richard Burrows; one brother-in-law, Gene Deitrick; niece, Karen Peg Welteroth; and great niece, Melissa Welteroth.

A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 15 in St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church Cemetery, Montgomery, with James Girven, officiating.

The family suggests that contributions in Dolores’ memory be made to St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, 196 Brick Church Road Montgomery, PA 17752.
