Michael Allen Stepp

Michael Allen Stepp left us peacefully the morning of Oct. 23, 2025.

Born Sept. 2, 1963, Mike was 62 years old; his life was filled with hard work and deep loyalty for those he considered friends.

For about 25 years, Mike worked as a roofer near Selinsgrove. He was a master at his craft.

He found joy in simple pleasures; fishing, metal detecting, hiking and soaking in the outdoors. Nature was his sanctuary; it was where he felt most alive.

Mike loved to create. His work shed overflowed with every imaginable tool. He turned scraps into clever creations. Yet, life was not without hardship, eventually compelling him to start over with little more than his determination.

When Mike visited Robert in Tennessee, the hills, scenery and warmer climate won him over. Mike moved there for a fresh start.

His last two years were filled with joy, new friends and experiences; he called them his best, and his smile proved it.

He is predeceased by his mother, Lena Mae Stepp (Arthur) and his father Rolland Eugene Stepp. He is survived by his brothers, Russell E Stepp (Terry), Robert E Stepp (Keren) and his son, Michael Stepp II.

Until we meet again, Mike. You are deeply loved; you have a home in our hearts. May your spirit visit us often.

A Celebration of Life will be on Dec 6, at Sammy’s Banquet Hall located 1864 Lycoming Mall Dr, Muncy, from 1 to 4 p.m. with refreshment afterwards.
