Ursula E. Barr

Ursula E. Barr, 82, of Williamsport, died Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Edenbrook North. Born March 5, 1943, in Lebenstedt, Germany, the daughter of the late Adolf J. and Hedwig (Michelchuck) Olling.

Ursula married James L. Barr and shared 52 years of marriage prior to his passing on March 1, 2018.

Ursula is survived by sons, Jason A. Barr, of Paradise Valley, AZ, John J. (Shelly) Barr, of State College; brother, Gustav J. (Heidi) Olling, of Detroit, MI; sisters, Therese B. Proft, of Williamsport, Edith L. Miller, of Palm Beach, FL, and 5 grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, at Montoursville Cemetery, with Rev. Ronald G. Montgomery officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Montoursville.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Lycoming Co. SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
