Anne M. Pratt

Anne M. Pratt, 90, of Williamsport, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Rose View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born October 4, 1935, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John and Ethel (Dillon) Gross.

Anne was a devoted sister and aunt, who loved helping and spending time with her family. She donated her time anywhere she could, especially at the American Red Cross. Anne became the secretary and treasurer for the Lycoming County Special Olympics and United Commercial Travelers for some time. Outside of her time volunteering and being with family, she was always found with a book or her favorite strawberry ice cream, which she had every night. She was a proud independent person who always had a smile showing and whiling to have a conversation with anyone. She also attended the First Church of Williamsport on a regular basis.

She is survived by a niece, Annette (Brian) Sheets, of Montoursville; a nephew, David Binczewski, of Sedro Woolley, Wash.; numerous other nephews and nieces, as well as great and great-great nephews and nieces.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Gross; a sister, Marge Binczewski; and a brother, Joseph Gross.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville. Burial will follow at Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
