Dennis H. Adams

Dennis H. Adams, 78, of Trout Run, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport. He was born in Williamsport on January 5, 1947, a son of the late Charles and Geraldine (Mitstifer) Adams.

Dennis was the lead carpenter at Textron he worked there for 37 years until his retirement in 2012. Previously, Dennis worked for the Williamsport Area School District and Robert Hoover Construction. He married the former Mary Jane Ringler on June 14, 1968. Together they have shared 57 wonderful years. Dennis was a previous member of Calvary Methodist Church and a member of the Ringler Mountain Hunting Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dennis enjoyed camping at Watkins Glen, boating on Seneca Lake, and snowmobiling, in his younger years. He liked to travel the state of New York, and he especially cherished a trip to Branson, Missouri with his close friends Dick and Nancy Cavanaugh. Dennis was a craftsman in woodworking, making cabinets and many other works of art. In his free time, Dennis liked to watch NASCAR.

In addition to his loving wife, Mary Jane, Dennis is survived by a daughter, Lori (Rick) of Williamsport; three grandsons, Alex (Taylor) of South Williamsport; Ben (Bella) of Uniontown; and Sharif (Lexi) of Montgomery; two great grandsons, Carson and Coby; a sister, Linda Wilson of Gulf Port, Florida; two nephews, Rob (Gretchen) Cox and Brent (Alesia) Rudinski; and a niece, Marni (Dale) Miller.

The family would like to thank the staff at the UPMC ICU, 6 West and 6 East, and Palliative Care for their help, kindness, and compassion to Dennis during this difficult time.
