Elmer L (Mitty) Mitstifer Jr, 88 Of Celebration Florida died December 17, 2025. Born March 29, 1937 in Williamsport, He was the son of Elmer L. and Dorothy Hanshaw Mitstifer Sr.
Mitty was a 1955 graduate of Williamsport High School and Williamsport Technical Institute. He was instrumental in planning the class reunions.
Mitty was employed by Mackey Vending, Bethlehem Steel. And Williamsport Wire Rope He loved to go to Maine snowmobiling with his best friends Jim Stuck and Roy Puller. He also loved to travel. He traveled the world and went on 32 cruises with his fiancé of 22 years Barbara Schramm.
Mitty was a lifetime member and 32nd degree mason Ivy Lodge 106 and served many years on the Newberry Lions Club. He served in the Army National Guard.
Surviving is his fiancé, Barbara D. Schramm of Celebration Fl; a niece, Danielle Mitstifer of Hughesville, and a nephew, Bret Mitstifer of Turbotville and their children.
He was predeceased by his father, mother and brother, Charles.
As to his wishes there will be no visitation.
